• Business and Career Solutions Centre, which paid for tuition, books, supplies, and child care while Jones was enrolled in the CRT program while at Nicholls. She then earned a master’s degree in social work from Tulane University.

Medical and public health social workers provide persons, families, or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses.

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions.
